an addition to the memorial to Mike
My friends Raphael Clemente and Mike Zingaro, brothers, added a PLAQUE to my brother's MEMORIAL in downtown West Palm Beach. The memorial was instigated by Raphael, the plaque was provided by another friend of my brother, Jim Brown.
It is a beautiful addition to what I hope will be regularly used bike racks in the downtown district.

Rest assured those bike racks are well used and well loved by everyone from the guys who sweep the streets to the City Commissioners, to the little kids who I saw using them as a jungle gym last Thursday night.
As I walked up to the bike racks from across the street I spotted three little girls climbing on them, running around them, hanging on the "steam"...just having a blast. As I unlocked my bike I asked them if they were having fun. A shy "yes" was the answer.
I said that the fellow who these were put here for was going to be real happy when I told him that three little girls were climbing on his bike racks.
Their mom looked a little bewildered as I left.
While I waited for the light I glanced back at them and they were all standing there looking down at the plaque. The mom looked up at me with a big smile on her face and waved as I rode away.
That was cool!
